Purpose of the Job The Carrier Sourcing Manager is responsible for creating and developing partnerships with key carriers inside the WorldWide Logistics network. Responsibilities and Duties Source and onboard reliable/trustworthy carrier partners to fulfill WorldWide Logistics customers’ needs Negotiate rates and capacity for specific projects with their carrier network Manage key KPI metrics with their assigned carriers Collaborate with other Operations and Sales teams to ensure sufficient network capacity Identify Value-Add opportunities with closest carrier partners Introduce and educate select carrier partners to the WorldWide Load Board and maximize usage Identify potential carrier partners for drop trailer networks across the domestic U.S. Proactively prepare Worldwide Logistics carrier network and capacity for seasonal demand
