Position Summary The Peer Support Specialist provides recovery-oriented support to adults living with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) within Jewish Family Service of Dallas, in partnership with a Clubhouse setting. This role uses lived experience to build meaningful relationships, support member goals, and promote engagement in programming and community life. What You'll Do Provide one-on-one and group peer support Facilitate groups and assist with daily programming Encourage member engagement, participation, and connection Promote recovery, wellness, and self-advocacy Support members in identifying goals and developing individualized plans Assist with accessing community resources and supports Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with program standards Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members Participate in the RISE Program and other program initiatives Maintain appropriate professional boundaries while using lived experience intentionally Work effectively with diverse populations in a culturally responsive and inclusive manner
