HIM TECH I - HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT |PER-DIEM (24816)

The HIM Technician I is responsible for processing, retrieving, and filing medical records in accordance with departmental guidelines, as well as filing transcribed reports, when needed. The PHIM Technician I respond to telephone calls and interacts appropriately with physicians, internal and external customers. Position requires a dedication of I hour minimum a day to loose files. Other duties may include the processing of prepping and scanning a medical record; assigning deficiencies to OP encounters; and assembly of LTC Records. Employee must adhere to NBMC standard of behavior and ethical practices.
