Our mission: Serving Society with Superior Quality To support our mission, we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Specialist Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) to work out of our Brisbane branch driving initiatives & compliance across QLD. You will collaborate closely & regularly with the key influencers within BMSA to ensure our business complies with all mandated & legislated requirements including BMSA as well as customer specific standards & protocols. The Benefits • Career development within the global Bridgestone business • 5 days extra leave every year after 2 years of employment • An extra 5 days leave as a one off at each 5 year employment milestone • Health checks / free flu shots • Product discounts on Bridgestone Tyres • Additional benefits & staff discounts The Opportunity • Frequent travel to BMSA & customer locations across Australia & specifically QLD. • Protect the health (physical or psychological) & safety of workers & other people within the workplace by eliminating or minimizing risks • Ensure all workplace equipment, systems, guidelines, practices & procedures comply with the relevant HSEQ legislation, standards & protocols • Conduct regular & effective communication with all stakeholders • Assist in & conduct HSEQ investigations through analysis, evidence & interpretation of data to determine appropriate corrective actions • Collaborate closely with the National HSEQ Team • Encourage a ‘continuous improvement’ mindset amongst all stakeholders • Identify knowledge & skill gaps to rectify with appropriate training About You - Essential • Excellent verbal & written communication (preferably in procedure writing) • Solid computing skills with a good working knowledge of MS Office suite • Strong relationship building with internal & external stakeholders • Well-developed organisational & time management skills • Knowledge of current HSEQ statutory requirements • Strong commitment to safety of yourself & others • A valid driver’s licence • Current work rights in Australia About You – Preferred • Experience working in a similar HSEQ role • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications • Knowledge or exposure to Off the Road (OTR) Tyres, mining or related industries Join a global leader & access product discounts, career progression & training.
