HGV Class 1 Driver - Nights

Monday to Friday Nights!!!!

We’re looking for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Culina Chilled & Fresh team in Westerleigh - Bristol, supporting our Meat Processing and packaging operation and delivering to key retail customers across the UK.

This is a permanent role offering full-time stability for HGV Class 1 drivers who will be responsible for RDC, Farms and Packhouse deliveries. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards. You’ll be joining a supportive transport team where safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards are valued every day.

Shift Patterns-

- Monday to Friday 18:00 Starts

Salary- From £13.43 - £22.83 per hour depending on shift times.

- Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork - Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene - Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department - Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive - Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times - Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure - Responsible for unit and trailer, including temperature checks - Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery - Achieve and succeed fuel efficiency targets set by the business - Any other duties as reasonably required

- You should hold a valid C+E Licence - Previous Class 1 Driving Experience is advantageous however we will consider New Pass Drivers - No more than 6 points and no DD/ DR Code convictions. - Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards. - Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation. - Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly. - Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements. - Excellent communication skills.
