Cutting Machine Operator

About the role

Operate the cutting machine (Diamond Wire Saw Machine) according to the work plan and supervisor's instructions. • Perform vertical and horizontal cutting (Diamond Wire Saw Machine) and thread the diamond wire. • Cut and shape stones into blocks according to standard sizes. • Adjust the machine and set the cutting alignment and dimensions correctly. • Coordinate with the team handling stone slab toppling. • Coordinate with the machinery lifting team. • Maintain and take care of equipment and tools before and after each use. • Oversee the cutting process to ensure adherence to the production plan and quality standards. • Inspect the condition of the stone after cutting and sort out stones that do not meet quality standards. • Notify the supervisor upon discovering any irregularities or machinery malfunctions. • Strictly adhere to safety rules in the quarry area.
