About the role
1) Review daily production plan information with the supervisor. 2) Verify the supply and control of raw materials, equipment, and/or tools on the production line. 3) Ensure that 5-minute meetings are held for each production line. Open issues in the line QRAP (Quick Reaction Plan) when a recurring defect or safety problem is detected. Escalate unresolved issues from the line GPQ (Process Qualification Committee) to the area GPQ. 4) Review the staffing plan and coordinate with the supervisor how to cover for absent personnel due to absences and/or leave.} 5) Review and/or enter materials into the SAP system. 6) Supervise and support operators in their work performance. 7) FO P 59 Genba Walk Level 1 8) Follow up on work orders. 9) Verify that the Team Leader or operator (injection molding) completes the start-up log. 10) Review the daily productivity log. 11) Manage staff training (ILUO Multiskilling Matrix) and ensure that staff are working according to the ILUO matrix. 12) Update Multiskilling Matrices on KPI boards. 13) Maintain order and cleanliness in the 5S work area. 14) Monitor the quality system for product manufacturing. 15) Track the disposal and removal of non-conforming product (SCRAP). 16) Review and maintain communication with the engineering department regarding changes made to production processes. 17) Keep fixtures clean and covered. 18) Review inventory (raw materials and work-in-process). 19) Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure that the staff under your supervision use it according to their work area. 20) Monitor measures to improve product quality by reducing the in-process defect rate. 21) Safeguard the company's machinery, equipment, facilities, tools, work-in-process inventory, and fixed assets assigned to your line, as well as the safety and security of the operators. 22) Support the Safety and Environment Department in ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
