Head of Warehousing (m/f/x)

We are looking for you to join our logistics center in Weil am Rhein as soon as possible as a Head of Warehousing (m/f/x).

Your Responsibilities

- Overall responsibility for the operational management and continuous development of the warehouse - Management of all warehouse processes, from goods receipt, put-away and order picking to packing and dispatch - Planning and management of staffing, capacity, warehouse space and shift schedules - Leading, motivating and developing the warehouse team - Responsibility for inventory accuracy, stocktaking and relevant warehouse KPIs - Ensuring productivity, quality, efficiency, workplace safety and adherence to process standards - Continuously improving warehouse processes, automation and other improvement initiatives - Close collaboration with internal stakeholders and active contribution to the development of the logistics strategy

Your Profile

- Several years of professional experience in warehouse management or logistics, ideally with leadership experience - Completed technical or commercial training, ideally with additional qualifications in logistics; a university degree is a plus - Strong knowledge of warehouse organisation, material flow and process optimisation - Proven experience in leading larger teams, including Team Leads - Confident use of WMS, ERP and logistics systems, as well as good MS Office/Excel skills - Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills, combined with a high level of accountability and assertiveness - Technical understanding, a structured and solution-oriented approach, and a hands-on mentality - Fluent German and business-fluent English
