About the role
About CareerOS
CareerOS is the career management platform for universities and business schools. Most career tools list jobs; we run the student’s actual job search (networking, outreach, follow-up, interview prep) and give the career centre real-time visibility of what every student is doing. 150+ of the top institutions worldwide already use us, including HEC Paris, TUM, Berkeley Haas, Oxford Saïd, London Business School and ESMT Berlin. In January 2026 we merged with Highered, EFMD’s global career partner, which gives us business-school partners on six continents.
The role
You’ll own our growth across the Nordics, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Oceania, from Barcelona. We already have partners (and the biggest names in the game) in every one of these regions so you’re not starting from zero. The job is two things: sign new business schools and universities, and grow the partners we already have.
Full sales cycle, your own regions, working directly with the founders.
What you’ll do
- Build and work a pipeline of business schools and universities across your regions: prospecting, discovery, demos, negotiation, close. - Upgrade existing partners: land and expand is how a lot of our growth happens. - Run the renewals in your book and keep those relationships warm. - Adapt the pitch to very different buyers (a Swedish public university and a UAE private one don’t buy the same way) and bring what you learn back to the founders. - Travel several times per year: partner visits and the EFMD conference circuit.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years closing B2B deals (SaaS or EdTech a plus), or you’ve worked inside a university career centre and know the buyer from the inside. - Hunter energy: when you see an open market, you go after it. - Fluent English. A cultural connection to one of these regions, or a relevant extra language, is a real plus but not required. - Comfortable owning your calendar across time zones: Asia and Oceania mean some early mornings; the Middle East and the Nordics run on a normal Barcelona day. - You live in Barcelona or want to move here.
What won’t rule you out
- A non-traditional background - Never having sold to universities - A CV that isn’t perfect - Not being in Barcelona yet
Career services professionals, we’d especially love to hear from you.
What this role is not
- Not an account-management seat. You inherit partners, but you’re measured on growth (new logos and upgrades) and you build the pipeline yourself. No SDR team hands you meetings. - Not a 9-to-5. Universities run on academic calendars: semester starts, recruitment seasons, procurement windows. When a school needs something, we move. You will own your time and win this way. - Not a corporate sales job. No layers, no decks for “stakeholders”. More freedom and ownership than at a big company: and higher expectations because we are growing FAST.
What you get
- Your own regions from week two, and direct work with the founders: you’ll see how decisions actually get made. - Uncapped commission on the contract value you grow; multi-year deals pay more. - The best AI tooling we can buy and a team that actually uses it: research, call prep and first drafts are done before you open your laptop. - A structured 30/60/90-day onboarding; we’ve just run it thrice. - Travel to your regions and the EFMD circuit. - The Barcelona startup ecosystem. Team dinners, padel, offsites (Italy last summer). - Coco, our office dog.
