Clocker

General Definition: Responsible for accurately timing workouts each morning. Essential Job Functions: Supervises Clocking staff Maintains book of each horse registered markings for identification Inputs daily work out details in computer Generates workout report, makes copies, and distributes to appropriate personnel. Notifies ambulance & other appropriate parties when an accident occurs on the track Coordinates the Workout Rule and first time starters for entries with appropriate personnel. Approve first-time starters around the turn and updates list All other duties as assigned by management. Transmits to the Stewards all complaints, protests, objections, or disputes. Assists, as required, in the daily operation of the racing office. All other duties as assigned by management.
