In the role you will perform all duties necessary to the efficient operation of facility warehouse in accordance with standard work and building procedures. What will you be doing? • Pull orders, package products, print labels, mark and document all outgoing shipments according to shipping orders and instructions and regulations. • Perform any special skid or package preparation necessary to ensure safe transportation of the product and ensure it will be delivered in good condition • Prepare identification with customer’s name and destination, handling instructions, etc. and apply to containers to conform with standard instructions and procedures. Prepare necessary paperwork and reports from computer. • Maintain a high degree of quality, quantity and safety and keep work area clean. • Enter and access information on PC and shipping systems as needed. • Actively participates in facility Safety, Lean, and 5S programs and processes. Participate on problem solving teams as required. • Participate in processes and programs aimed at continuous improvement and safety. • Performs other duties as assigned. What will you need to be successful? • Minimum High School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent require • Minimum of six months’ warehousing experience. Experience kit pulling and shelving parts is preferred • Forklift experience a plus • Ability to use and understand simple formulas (add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, percents, decimals and fractions using a calculator) • Self-motivated with ability to work independently with little direction from supervisor • Able to effectively communicate • Basic computer skills and experience with operation of scanning equipment • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and 70 pounds occasionally • Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including medical and dental insurance, life/AD&D insurance, short and long term disability, flexible spending accounts, paid holidays, personal time off, 401(k) and ESOP retirement programs and more!
