Kitchen Prep (Holbrook) compensation: 17.00 + an hr part time or Full time employment type: full-time experience level: mid level job title: kitchen prep We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented Kitchen Prep to join our Kitchen Team. The prep cook is responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring that food preparation areas are well stocked and organized. This role is essential to maintaining an eff and smooth kitchen operation wash, peel, and chop veg and fruits label and store food properly in containers maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas assist line cooks and chefs with basic food preparation tasks monitor inventory and notify chef of low stock items comply with food safety and sanitation guidelines clean and sanitize workstations tools and kitchen equipment , previous kitchen or food prep experience knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and techniques • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately • Strong attention to detail and time management • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Team player with a positive attitude • Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
