About the role
Well established property management company headquartered in Southfield, MI seeks a skilled Mechanical Technician with experience in air conditioning and furnace installations. Responsibilities: Install, perform start-ups, troubleshoot and repair residential- Air Conditioner and Furnace systems. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-related problems in residential HVAC systems. Troubleshoot and repair air conditioners, furnaces, thermostats, ductwork components, and associated equipment. Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and identify potential issues before system failure occurs. Replace defective parts, components, and system controls as needed. Verify proper refrigerant levels, airflow, gas pressure, and electrical connections. Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions.
