About the role

September 2026 – August 2027 The Ministry Residency Program is a 12-month leadership development initiative. It is designed for those who have completed their college studies, or equivalency, and already have a sense of the calling/career path they want to pursue. The program is designed to be a bridge from college or secular career to ministry, giving residents invaluable ministry experience that will better prepare them for more permanent roles within the church. Within a specific area of ministry, residents will be given responsibilities comparable to that of a director. In addition, residents receive weekly leadership development training, ministry coaching, complete quarterly studies and lead ministry activities. Responsibilities/Duties: Cultivate a close daily walk and relationship with Christ Learn how systems and processes work, so as to apply them in future contexts Participate and learn to develop and lead teams Participate in weekend worship planning with campus worship directors Schedule and manage volunteers Collaborate and create a worship song with other songwriters at Grace Spend time with each campus supporting, leading worship and learning from worship directors Lead worship and assist various ministry needs (Bible studies, Campus Events) Lead worship and teams for South OP Student Ministries Learn basics of AVL systems by volunteering during off-stage weeks Learn audition management and process Learn the skill of planning “flow” and working with other departments in planning weekends Read required reading that is assigned Print and manage weekly setlists for South OP location Update and manage new songs in planning center Help maintain “GC Collaborative” Youtube page Learn budget and planning process Lead and facilitate summer months worship gatherings Grow in skill (vocals, guitar, piano, etc.) Lead at local Grace Church plants (i.e. Silo, Message Church, Mission City)
