As Material Handler III- Transfer Specialist, you will be responsible for providing advanced material handling support to ensure efficient movement, tracking, and availability of inventory and materials across departments while maintaining accurate records and supporting production needs. Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, this position is based in Shreveport, LA*. Due to payroll, tax, and employment law requirements, applicants must be located in one of these states at the time of hire. Duties & Responsibilities Assist other departments as needed to support operational goals. Coordinate with Production Control, Purchasing, Sales & Service, Shipping & Receiving, and Engineering. Maintain strong attendance, safety, and work performance standards. Safety Perform daily inspections of company transport vehicles. Maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Operate hand trucks, hoists, powered industrial trucks, and other material handling equipment safely. Quality Complete and maintain accurate electronic processes and paperwork (checklists, barcoding, blueprints, etc.). Perform cycle counts and inventory management functions. Maintain warehouse reorder dispatch systems and ensure inventory accuracy. Delivery Track and determine status of work in process to meet daily requirements. Transfer inventory between warehouses or departments as needed. Manage Kanban processes including scanning, transporting, and restocking materials.
