Join our amazing team at CHT Amberlea in beautiful Algies Bay as a weekend Activities Coordinator! We're looking for a fun, energetic, and qualified person to bring joy, creativity, and meaningful activities to our residents for 4 hours each on Saturday and Sunday. What you will be doing: • Contributes to the assessment process of each resident under the guidance of the Carehome Manager reflecting the individual resident’s functional level, problems, needs and interests. • Plans, schedules, implements and evaluates a programme of individual and/or group activities based on the residents' needs. • Coordinates and participates in resident activities designed to promote social interaction, reality orientation and intellectual stimulation. • Documents activity-related information in the resident’s notes. • Assists with escorting residents to and from activities. • Maintains sufficient activity supplies. • Develop monthly calendar of planned activities. • Contributes to the development of the continuous quality improvement plan for the Activity Programme. • Consistently act as a role model for safe work practices. • Ensure that all incidents and accidents are reported in accordance with CHT policies and procedures. • Comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, relevant legislation and regulations and CHT’s policies and procedures. • Attend and actively participate in team health and safety meetings.
