Mascot

Under general guidance of the Event Programming Director and Programming Assistant, the Mascot is responsible for promoting the Los Angeles County Fair as an official costumed ambassador of the Fair at local community events and the Fair. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Representing the Los Angeles County Fair and Fairplex at community functions throughout the year • Participating in meet & greets and photo taking opportunities at year-round events and Los Angeles County Fair • Assisting mascots with getting in costume • Assuring mascots safety while mascots are in public • Driving to and from community events • Keeping costumes and dressings rooms clean and orderly • Informing the Mascot Lead or Programming Department of any concerns or problems with the costumes • Completing surveys based on experience at events • Other duties as assigned
