Position Overview Woolpert is hiring a Project Engineer/Task Leader to join our dynamic Water Team in South Carolina. This position is primarily responsible for assisting with technical delivery on projects as well as the budgeting, planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting for specific project phase(s) and/or task(s). This position is key in establishing and improving levels of team technical competence, quality, and efficiency.

This position will be part of a team engaging clients across the water markets in support of client objectives in the areas of Data Analytics, Asset Management, Organizational Performance, Permit Compliance, Process Improvement, and related studies and analyses. This position will perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Do:

  • Support various phases of our water/wastewater/stormwater management projects, from communication with clients to deliverable generation.
  • Perform technical aspects of specified deliverables and/or lead a team of technical staff in creating deliverables consistent with scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Manage phases of projects, ensuring completion of work that meets quality assurance requirements.
  • Perform field work, as needed.
