AK- Tractor Painter

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Tractor Painter responsible for surface preparation, priming, and painting of tractors and tractor components. The role requires attention to finish quality, color matching, and adherence to safety standards in a workshop/paint booth environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Surface Preparation: Clean, degrease, sand, and fill dents/bodywork on tractor cabins, chassis, fenders, and parts 2. Priming & Coating: Apply primer, base coat, and top coat using spray guns as per company specifications and color codes 3. Color Matching: Match OEM tractor colors and ensure consistent finish across all parts 4. Equipment Handling: Operate spray guns, compressors, paint mixing machines, and maintain paint booths 5. Quality Check: Inspect painted surfaces for runs, orange peel, dust, or color mismatch. Rework if needed 6. Safety & Maintenance: Follow PPE norms, handle paints/thinners safely, and maintain cleanliness of paint shop 7. Record Keeping: Log paint consumption, report defects, and coordinate with assembly team for painted parts Required Skills & Qualifications: 1. Experience: 2-5 years in tractor/auto/industrial painting. Experience with tractor brands like Mahindra, Sonalika, John Deere preferred 2. Technical Skills: Knowledge of spray painting techniques, surface prep, masking, putty work, and clear coat application 3. Tools: Proficiency with HVLP/LVLP spray guns, air compressors, buffing/polishing machines 4. Education: 10th pass / ITI in Painter Trade preferred 5. Other: Ability to read color codes, understand paint mixing ratios, and work in shift duties if required
