Senior Corporate Counsel

As Senior Corporate Counsel , you will serve as a trusted legal advisor to business leaders across Spire, partnering closely with our Federal Sales, Government Programs, Executive Leadership and cross-functional teams. You'll advise on complex commercial transactions, government contracting matters and strategic initiatives while helping the business navigate an evolving regulatory environment.

This is a highly visible role for a commercially minded attorney who enjoys solving complex problems, influencing business decisions, and working across a fast-paced, innovative technology company.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead legal advisor for U.S. Federal Sales and Government contracting activities.

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements, including government contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, NDAs, licensing agreements and strategic partnerships.

• Provide legal guidance throughout the government procurement lifecycle, including proposal support, contract negotiations and post-award contract management.

• Advise internal stakeholders on federal acquisition regulations, government compliance requirements and contractual risk.

• Support U.S. Defense market opportunities and collaborate with business leaders on strategic customer engagements.

• Partner closely with Sales, Finance, Security, Compliance, HR and Executive Leadership to provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
