Reefer Technician (Langeberg)

Reefer Operations Conduct pre-trip inspections on empty refrigerated marine containers within the depot. Perform repairs and maintenance on refrigerated containers in accordance with operational standards. Mentor and train assistant reefer technicians and PTI clerks to ensure skill development and adherence to procedures. Inspect and verify the quality of repairs completed by assistant reefer technicians and PTI clerks to ensure compliance with standards. Perform calibration of refrigerated containers used for cold treatment applications. Reports • Submit daily reports of completed work to the supervisor for review and recordkeeping. Customer Service • Attend call-outs to the port, vessels, or client premises to carry out repairs on refrigerated containers. • Perform on-site port monitoring of reefers to ensure proper functionality and temperature compliance. • Manage, maintain, and deliver ship’s spares inventory as required. Adhock • Comply with all Health and Safety regulations and procedures within the depot. • Carry out any reasonable instructions issued by your superior relating to depot operations and activities
