In addition to a cozy, lounge-like atmosphere evoking romanticism, character and dark allure of the iconic speakeasy, Social Misfits serves deliciously creative offerings including both savory and sweet scratch-made waffles from farm-fresh local ingredients, locally sourced Michigan maple syrups with unique flavor infusions, craft cocktails, and farmer direct, locally roasted, hand crafted coffee from Ferris Coffee Roasting Company. Social Misfits is equally suited for an unordinary lunch meeting, an extraordinary dinner date, or a boozy brunch with friends old and new. Responsibilities & Duties Welcome all guests in our restaurant with a warm and inviting demeanor Work closely with other baristas and Social Misfits staff to make all menu items as instructed Provide efficient and personal service to each and every customer Create unique relationships with guests by learning their names and favorite orders Stay informed on products and share knowledge with coworkers and guests Maintain the highest degree of quality and consistency in product standards Collect and process cash/charges using our POS system. Communicate with team members and management to solve problems Participate in maintaining a positive work environment Use all supplies and equipment in safe, efficient and responsible manner Punch in and report to the Manager/Supervisor on Duty on time for every shift. Obtain manager’s or supervisor’s approval prior to punching out. Performs all other related duties as assigned.
