Work closely with the other Rooms Managers to ensure the business needs of the resort are met. Responsibilities: Overall: • Attend and assist with the Monthly department meetings. • Sign off on payroll, ensuring all coding is accurate, PTO sheets turned in, manual time sheets turned in and detail reports are signed and turned in. • Assist with scheduling for the department. • Cover supervisor duties as needed. • Continued training of associates as needed. • Assist in performing monthly 1-on-1 staff meetings. • Facilitate evening department stand up meetings with the evening associates. • Assist in the interviewing and hiring process • Perform Coaching and Counseling of staff as needed. • Displays a positive, upbeat and professional demeanor with all guests and associates • Assist with all supply inventories. • Maintain property to Omni standards • Responds quickly and urgently to all guest requests • Conducts Moments of Service success checklists on a daily/weekly basis • Ensure all Safety Policies and Procedures are followed and adhered to. • Attends weekly forecast and operations meeting Housekeeping: • Primary focus on public area cleanliness and turndown service. • Manage the Supervisors and all daily operations of the team. • Daily Medallia Board is posted and Shared with Associates. • Manage the 100 point inspection process. • Monitor Medallia guest room cleanliness scores. • Conducts guestroom inspection checklist on daily/weekly basis • Conducts Rooms control to update personal preference profiles • Conducts inspections of stayover service and turndown service • Conducts inspections of public areas • Works with lobby attendants to maximize efficiency and quality of work. Laundry: • Turns on/checks for on status of the iron and makes sure it is in good operations condition (wax, etc.) • Checks all washing machines and dryers to ensure they are in good working condition. • Assign all Laundry associates to their stations when they check-in for the day • Keeps count and records of all items processed. • Personally supervises the spotting and washing of all stained linens/terry. • Recommends linen to be converted to rags when necessary. • Fills in a station with connective action if a Laundry associate is absent. • Oversees the delivery of linens to Food & Beverage and guestroom floors. • Responsible for the correct folding of all items. Sets priorities for the linen runners in loading and delivery to floors. • Inspects all linen before it leaves the Laundry. • Responsible for Laundry associate morale, absenteeism and daily production. • Responsible for proper station rotation during the day. • Responsible for communication with Housekeeping Assistant, Room Service Manager, Restaurant Manager, Convention Service Manager for all daily specials and weekly/monthly requirements. • Responsible for all monthly linen inventories • Responsible for daily/weekly/monthly payroll, chemical and assorted operating costs. • Before leaving each day, make sure all areas are clean, safe, and hazard free and linen is covered and everything is securely locked. Front Office: • Ensure registration cards are completed. • Ensure all needed reports are run. • Continually train Front Desk associates. • Communicate with department managers on continuing basis. Especially the communication with Night Audit each evening/morning. • Handle guest complaints, maintaining a satisfactory impression with the guest on resolving any complaints. • Be very familiar with the hotel computer system for training maintenance and trouble shooting. • Complete weekly supply inventories to ensure adequate pars of such. • Complete rate discrepancy report and make needed changes. • Block/assign applicable arrivals for the following day; i.e. V.I.P.'s, ESP's, Special Requests, etc. • Prepare group information sheets. • Complete check-out with balance report. • Complete credit check daily. • Complete Moment of Service Audits • Adhere to all Systems & Controls of the Front Desk and appropriate areas of responsibilities. Qualifications: • Three to Four years’ experience in Front Office/Housekeeping/Guest Services, including at least two years supervisory experience, required. • Knowledge of Opera, Kronos, and Alice are preferred • Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift • Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 lbs. • Must be available to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
