Beverage Production Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Operations Manager will oversee the manufacturing of beverages, ensuring quantity and

quality requirements are met.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff within the department.

- Oversees the day-to-day workflow of the department.

- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.

- Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with

- company policy.

- Maintains safety/environmental self-audits & visual checks, champions all safety or

- ergonomic activities for the department and helps to develop and meet plant safety

- goals.

- Maintains adequate knowledge of products and equipment to ensure the ability to

- direct employees to perform the job properly.

- Enforce all plant food safety, GMP, personnel safety and company policies.

- Maintain or exceed goals on yields and efficiencies.

- Oversees production quotas and schedules, ensuring inventory and shipment targets

- are met.

- Collaborates with purchasing department to verify, review, maintain, and report on

- materials and production inventories.

- Facilitates and authorizes any repairs or maintenance required for production tools

- and equipment.

- Identifies and recommends cost controls and other improvements to the production

- process.

- Performs other related duties as assigned.
