The Opportunity St Albert's Catholic School is seeking enthusiastic and professional Temporary Relief Teachers (TRTs) to join our relief teaching pool. Relief teachers play an important role in ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining positive classroom environments when teaching staff are absent. This position provides an opportunity to work collaboratively with experienced staff while supporting students to achieve their personal, social, spiritual, and academic potential within a vibrant Catholic school community. Key responsibilities include: • Delivering high-quality teaching and learning programs in accordance with provided plans. • Creating safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments for all students. • Supporting student wellbeing and positive behaviour expectations. • Supervising students during classes, yard duties, and school activities as required. • Maintaining accurate records and communicating relevant information to school leadership. • Supporting the Catholic ethos, values, and mission of the school. About You We are seeking someone who: • Holds current Teacher Registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia. • Has a current Working With Children Check, First-Aid Certificate, and RRHAN-EC certification. • Demonstrates effective classroom management and positive behaviour support strategies. • Builds positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues. • Is flexible, organised, and able to adapt to a variety of year levels and learning environments. • Supports and contributes positively to the mission and values of Catholic education.
