Quality Inspector

POSITION PURPOSE Seeking a Quality Inspector to inspect product to ensure compliance with quality standards, perform testing for analysis purposes and perform auditing as directed by Quality Supervisor as well as identifying defects and non-conformances. DUTIES: (include but not limited to) ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Ensure quality standards for products are followed Read process flow maps, specification documents to ensure operations meets production standards Recommend any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes Inspect and test materials and equipment Use necessary quality tools and equipment to measure products Remove and quarantine any products/materials that don’t meet production standards Accept or reject finished products Discuss inspection results and metrics with production department Perform inspections at random to assess product conformity Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics Monitor the use of equipment/tools to ensure it is well-maintained NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Develop methods, tools, and processes to measure, understand, and improve core processes and perform these activities in alignment with company values.
