Find out more at https://flux.io/london/ Business Development Role As one of the first London based Business Developnent Representatives for FLUX you will help define our best-in-the-industry client engagement process and culture. You will work closely with the Executive team, Product Management, Marketing and our FLUX Advanced Services + Technology (FAST) team to make sure that our products and services surpass the expectations of discriminating buyers and to define and deliver custom solutions based on the FLUX platform. Team Management This Business Development Role includes office management responsibilities spanning recruitment, team building and people management. Responsibilities Manage accounts from business development, prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support Work with the Executive team to develop all aspects of the business development / sales process Develop and work with channel partners to understand their business. Creatively adopt programs to drive new revenue and expand business partner relationships Provide regular and thoughtful feedback to the product development and technical teams based on customer and business partner interactions Act as a representative of FLUX by creating and delivering presentations to prospects, customers, partners at community, sales and marketing events Effectively negotiate deals at multiple levels in prospect organizations with a focus on C-level and Sr. Executives responsible for technical innovation Generate new business leads by direct contact with prospect companies and working with marketing and lead generation Effectively define and sell complex services projects in conjunction with the FAST team Help FLUX develop success stories and case studies Work with our exceptional team of Application Engineers to create compelling demos and prototypes Undertake recruiting activities including sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates Qualifications Excellent communication skills and ability to manage a team Results orientation, strong verbal and written communication skills, self-aware, strong business ethics, with a natural ability to build strong relationships internally and externally 5+ years experience in the Architecture, Engineering or Construction (AEC) industry Deep passion and understanding of technology in the AEC industry Strong writing and presentation skills Superb time management Comfort with travel that may exceed 25% of time Experience and comfort working in a startup environment A good sense of humor The interest and ability to make others more successful Highly Desired Construction site management experience AEC-tech thought leader Ability to fold a piece of paper in half more than 8 times
