A/R Specialist

American Refrigeration Supplies, Inc. is a wholesale distributor of A/C and heating equipment, accessories and supplies and has been serving our customers for 85 years. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven A/R Specialist at our Corporate Phoenix office. This position is full-time (typically 8:00 am - 5:00 pm) About the position: To provide administrative support functions for the credit department such as collections of account receivables from customers/clients, resolving customer billing issues, and reducing account delinquency. Review open accounts for collection efforts Making outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations Resolves client-billing problems Utilize internal systems daily to post payments, including Vendor Portal System Set new or update customer billing accounts Cross Train and Assist AR Tax Specialist Reduce accounts receivable delinquency, in a timely manner Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and review with management Review and monitor assigned accounts and all applicable collection reports Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements Coordinate correspondence to customers via email, mail, calls etc. to encourage payment of delinquent accounts. Work with internal teams to resolve any issues to support collections Other duties as assigned
