System Tester

Overview SCCI is seeking a System Tester to join our team and serve as a Scrum Team Embedded Tester. In this position you will support IV&V testing to ensure conformance of software functionality prior to weapons system application release to the fleet. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to learn new technical concepts quickly. This position is located in Dahlgren, VA . Responsibilities: Assess requirements and develop test procedures for assigned Scrum Team’s software products Provide real-time documentation of critical thinking/test methodology to ensure a valid test is performed to meet requirement specifications Test and validate Gun Computer System (GCS) Mark (MK) 160 Gun Weapons System (GWS) developer builds, progressing from iterative development builds to the final production build Collaborate with Software Engineers in an Agile environment to support the development of high-quality software artifacts
