About The Role The Strategic Sourcing Manager, Ingredients is responsible for leading the sourcing, supplier management, and category execution activities for assigned ingredient categories across Monogram Foods. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Sourcing, this individual contributor role partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, R&D, Commercialization, and Finance to ensure a reliable, cost effective, and competitive ingredient supply base. The role works alongside a peer Strategic Sourcing Manager, with responsibility for a defined portion of the ingredient portfolio. The successful candidate will leverage market intelligence, supplier relationships, and commercial expertise to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, mitigate risk, and support business growth initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned ingredient categories. Lead supplier selection activities, including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and supplier evaluations. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial agreements with suppliers. Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships focused on performance, quality, service, and innovation. Monitor commodity markets, industry trends, cost drivers, and supply risks impacting assigned categories. Identify and implement cost savings, cost avoidance, and value engineering opportunities. Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, R&D, and Commercialization teams to support business objectives. Support innovation and new product development initiatives through supplier engagement. Develop risk mitigation and business continuity plans for key ingredients and suppliers. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contract requirements, and sourcing processes. Present sourcing recommendations, supplier performance, and market updates to leadership.
