About the role

Summary: The Sales Training and Development Specialist is responsible for designing, coordinating, and delivering effective training programs that strengthen the knowledge, skills, and performance of our property and casualty insurance agents. This role requires deep expertise in underwriting guidelines, quoting systems, and sales processes, along with the ability to facilitate engaging training both in person and virtually. The specialist partners closely with Sales Managers and internal project teams to support ease of doing business, ensure compliance with continuing education requirements, and drive overall sales effectiveness. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Deliver effective training for property and casualty product lines to enhance agent knowledge, confidence, and sales capability. Maintain expert-level understanding of underwriting guidelines, quoting systems, workflows, and internal tools to support accurate and efficient training. Conduct training sessions in multiple formats, including in person workshops, virtual classes, webinars, and one-on-one coaching. Coordinate and lead training meetings, ensuring content is relevant, engaging, and aligned with business goals. Collaborate with Sales Managers to develop comprehensive training courses, manuals, job aids, and ongoing development materials. Partner with the Project Team to identify and communicate opportunities that improve ease of doing business for agents and customers. Serve as the primary coordinator for all Continuing Education (CE) requirements and professional accreditations, ensuring compliance and timely completion. Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, performance metrics, and observation; recommend improvements as needed. Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in insurance training and learning. Travel up to 25% to support training sessions, meetings, and field development.
