Facility Maintenance Support

Facility Maintenance Support position available for The Jay Group a 3PL company located in Lancaster, PA. This position performs maintenance functions between two facilities in the Lancaster area. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a distribution or a fulfillment center. Facility Maintenance Support Job Responsibilities: Performs preventive maintenance tasks for electric, plumbing, HVAC, lawn & tree care, housekeeping, powered industrial equipment, fire and security, fire suppression sprinklers, and pest control. Observes proper lock-out, tag-out procedures. Performs tasks with outside vendors to complete preventative maintenance and larger projects that cannot be handled by the internal Maintenance Team. Completes tasks to support Maintenance requests submitted by employees in all departments of the company and for any companies that lease space from Jay Group. Removes equipment requiring repair from use, effectively repairs equipment, and tests equipment prior to re-introduction to active production. Performs inspections of fire extinguishers, pest control units, facility temperature control units, and sprinkler systems as required within the facilities.
