As a Senior Test Engineer , you will lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of advanced automated testing tools and strategies to ensure the quality of software and hardware solutions. You will design and execute comprehensive test procedures, validate system requirements, and enhance automated test architectures with a strong emphasis on automation scripting, AI integration, and accessibility compliance.

The Work: You will develop, maintain, and improve automated test scripts, as well as write and run detailed system test cases. Your role includes analyzing test results, producing clear progress reports, and serving as a subject matter specialist for complex applications in a client‑facing environment. You will drive AI adoption within testing workflows and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to define test strategies, analyze user needs, and determine optimal tools. Participation in all phases of risk management and support of software/hardware development initiatives is integral to this role. Experience with automation frameworks, AI‑driven testing solutions, accessibility tools, and risk management processes will help you excel.

  • Experience serving as a subject matter specialist for complex software/hardware testing
  • Participation in risk management activities and development lifecycles
  • Proficiency in analyzing user requirements, designing tests, and selecting appropriate tools
  • Proficiency in working directly with the client
  • Background in a leading-edge technology organization

Bonus If You Have:

  • Experience with leading automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium)
  • Familiarity with AI‑driven testing tools
  • ISTQB or similar certification
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of accessibility compliance standards (WCAG, ADA)
  • Background in risk management assessment
  • Strong reporting and documentation capabilities

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
