Peer Specialist

Sign-on Bonus: $500 Assists in the operation and maintenance of the SHARE Spot drop-in center. Engage members in conversation and support. Assist in development and provision of groups, explaining the purpose and activities. Provide support in the planning, coordinating, and implementation of an activities program to meet the diverse need of the members. Ensure a non-judgmental, supportive atmosphere is maintained for all. Conveys hope to members about their own recovery. Recognizes when to share experiences and when to listen to members. Supports members to set goals and to dream of future possibilities.
