What You’ll Do

As a Mental Health Therapist at Kolmac, you will be at the center of patient care—building strong therapeutic relationships and delivering high-quality, evidence-based treatment. You’ll lead therapy groups, facilitate individual sessions, and contribute to integrated treatment plans within our collaborative treatment environment.

Clinical Responsibilities Include:

· Provide individual and group psychotherapy for adults.

· Develop and maintain person-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans

· Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and level-of-care determinations

· Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment approaches, and symptom management to support insight, empowerment, and recovery

· Design and deliver engaging process, psychoeducational and skills groups focused on emotional regulation, coping skills, and mental wellness.

· Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow therapists to provide integrated mental health care

· Participate in treatment team meetings, case consultations, and discharge planning

· Case management services such as, but not limited to, coordinated care with families, referral sources, and external providers as appropriate

· Demonstrates commitment to excellent patient care, which is measured through clinical outcomes, such as patient retention, attendance, successful program completion, transitioning from one level of care to another.

· Provide crisis support through a shared on-call rotation

· Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely

· Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience providing mental health treatment
  • Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
  • Active independent licensure:
  • LPC or LCSW

• Strong working knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, and trauma-informed care EMDR experience is highly preferred

  • Comfort using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care and professional growth
