Director of Athletics Operations

Do you have extensive knowledge and experience with youth and adult sports - such as basketball, pickleball, parkour, gymnastics, etc - as well as creating, implementing and overseeing exciting Athletic Programs and camps? The New Canaan YMCA is an expansive and welcoming community based Y - and our Sports Department is seeking a leader in the field of sports to maintain our current and robust programs, as well as come in with a creative and growth mindset to help us expand futher. Candidates should have experience working with youth as well as adults, and a history of running athletic programming. GENERAL FUNCTION Under the direction of the Vice President of Family and Youth Development, the Director of Athletic Operations is responsible for the direct supervision of the Manager of Basketball and League Operations, the Assistant Director of Programs, and all aspects of developmental youth and adult recreational sports, leagues, clinics, and tournaments.
