Develop and implement departmental research vision and infrastructure focusing on clinical trials, grantsmanship and original research. Build internal and external relationships to inspire and promote academic collaborations across the health system. Promote and provide a research and teaching environment of the highest quality and integrity. Foster programs of national distinction through innovation and collaboration. Mentor medical students, residents, fellows and faculty. Engage in teaching and research activities for students, residents and fellows. Participate on appropriate department and/or College committees as well as professional organizations, as appropriate.
