About the role
The Role: Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (Full Time and Part Time) Location: Crowley, TX The Company Personiv is recruiting on behalf of a company that provides high patient-focused health care services to all patients within the scope of practice through physician orders in accordance with all Texas state laws and regulations and company policies. The Role Currently licensed as an LMRT in the state of Texas and crossed trained as MA's in the back office. Responsibilities Capable of performing all x-ray views allowed by certification level Compliance with established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental and infection control standards. Prepare patient for X-Ray, CT scan, explain procedure to patient and/or family, prepares room, equipment, and materials as needed. Uses all resources to provide the best patient care File and place lab work with patient charts File x-rays after being reviewed Ensures no expired supplies are present in the lab Inspect and report artifacts from the x-ray screen Operate equipment according to Complete Care’s policies Follow appropriate HIPAA guidelines when providing information on medical records to primary care provider, insurance carriers, preferred providers and patients per patient request Utilizes all equipment, supplies, facilities and resources of Complete Care in an ethical manner Performs other related duties as assigned PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required by the job include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment : While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to some hazards as described in materials safety data sheets and in accordance with OSHA standards. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal. Qualifications 1-2 years’ recent experience in an emergency department, urgent care or other clinical setting; as a LMRT preferred Current BLS required, ACLS a plus Current Texas LMRT License in good standing or National Radiology License Ability to work with patients of all ages Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology Program.
