What you do - Oversee and automate our infrastructure using the best tools at your disposal. - Keep our customers happy by monitoring performance, minimizing downtime, and communicating effectively when the unexpected happens. - Implement strategies for auto-scaling, disaster recovery, and high availability. - Work with the rest of the product team to ensure their lives (and yours!) are as easy as possible. What we use Familiarity with these tools/technologies will help you hit the ground running, but we're all about using the best tools for the job. - Ruby, JavaScript, Perl, C/C++ - Rails, backbone.js - RSpec, jasmine - Git - Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, ELB, etc), Heroku - Puppet - MySQL, Redis, memcached - nginx, HAProxy - RabbitMQ - ElasticSearch - Docker, Kubernetes We have a small team, so you have a chance to make a huge impact on both our product and company. We have thousands of customers who use our products every day, and we pride ourselves on providing them a fast, stable platform. We employ TDD, CI, and sometimes deploy to production servers multiple times per day. Moreover, we love working here, and think you might too.
