Racing Secretary - Seasonal

- Responsible supervising the Racing Department and secure an ample supply of race horses for the racing meet by performing the following duties. Perform duties as described in the Ohio Rules of Racing- Write condition sheets for all racing programs.- Must approve the population of horses while reviewing the performance of the horsemen. Oversee Racing Department personnel, including the Assistant Race Secretary, Clerk of Course, Starter, Paddock Judge, Horse ID, Colors person, programs and other personnel assigned by the VP of Racing Operations.,- Respond to all problems, in the Racing areas, promptly and thoroughly as so not to negatively affect the other interrelated areas within the department.- Schedule all races.- Be aware of the shifts in the horse supply to maximize the...
