OVERVIEW The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily accounting operations of the organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and managing the month-end and year-end close processes. This role supervises accounting staff, supports audits and tax compliance, and partners with the VP of Finance to improve financial processes and reporting capabilities ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. · General ledger management · Month-end and year-end close · Financial statement preparation · Account reconciliations · Fixed asset management · Sales tax, income tax, and audit support · Oversight and training of Accounting staff · Cost Accounting analysis · Payroll Management
