Position Summary Prepares, cleans, and distributes hotel linens in accordance with company standards. Our staff prides itself on providing outstanding hospitality to our guests, and our Housekeeping team is a significant part of this. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The following essential duties may be carried out with or without reasonable accommodation: Sorts, pre-treats, washes, dries, folds, and distributes linens according to company standards. Ensures washers and dryers operate properly, keeps equipment clean and informs management or maintenance of any malfunctions or problems. Stocks and maintains linen cart, supplies, and laundry area in a neat and organized manner. Exchanges buckets of chemicals according to product specifications and safety standards. Responds to requests from guests and hotel staff in a timely and efficient manner. Monitors inventory of linens; determines and recommends stock replenishment. Monitors linens for possible contamination or pests and reports findings. Uses good judgment when working with used linens, employing safe work practices. Maintains a safe and professional image through appearance and dress. Follows all policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Other Duties and Responsibilities Performed Occasionally May perform housekeeping duties such as stripping bed linens, delivering fresh linens, or cleaning guest rooms.
