About the role
Axens Presentation: Axens provides a complete range of solutions for the conversion of oil and biomass to cleaner fuels, the production and purification of major petrochemical intermediates, the chemical recycling of plastics, all-natural gas treatment and conversion options along with water treatment and carbon capture. The offer includes technologies, equipment, furnaces, modular units, catalysts, adsorbents and related services. Axens is also specialized in Carbon Capture. Axens is ideally positioned to cover the entire value chain, from feasibility study to unit start-up and follow-up throughout the entire unit life cycle. This unique position ensures the highest level of performance with a reduced environmental footprint. Axens global offer is based on highly trained human resources, modern production facilities and an extended global network for industrial, technical support commercial services. Axens combines the friendliness of a company on a human scale and the influence of a multinational environment whose customers are spread over more than 85 countries. Axens is an IFP Group company. Context: A first version of an Axens equipment database has been created to promote and rationalize equipment information. The next step is to scale it up and keep it alive by integrating additional content and structuring it so that it provides a global, synthetic and actionable view for both operational teams and sales teams. The internship will be carried out in a highly cross-functional environment, involving information collection from multiple entities such as Technology, Commercial, New Development and other technical stakeholders, and transforming dispersed knowledge into a robust and user-friendly reference repository, aligned with Axens’ approach of building accessible and maintainable repositories. Tasks and activities: • Collect and consolidate equipment-related information from contributing entities (TTS, CIAL, NDT, …) through interviews, existing documents and internal repositories. • Synthesize and standardize technical and business-relevant content (what it is, where it is used, key differentiators, limits/conditions, references when available) into clear and intelligible formats, consistent with Axen’s repository best practices (taxonomy, tags, templates). • Populate and maintain the database tool: ensure data quality, traceability, versioning and consistency rules; propose governance and update workflows. • Enhance the tool and develop associated applications (e.g., search/navigation improvements, automated exports, dashboards, pitch-ready summaries). • Contribute to automation and data processing (parsing, cleaning, structuring, API/scripts, semi-automated ingestion). • Promote the delivered work: prepare communication material and demos for operational and commercial users, collect feedback and iterate.
