Mechanical Engineer 1

Come and join our dynamic group of Mechanical Engineers at the Prototype, Manufacturing and Integration (PMI) division of Applied Research Associates (ARA), Inc. We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Mechanical Engineer 1 to be on-site in the Madison, AL location. The ideal candidate must be proficient with SOLIDWORKS Computer Aided Design (CAD) software and provide engineering design and prototype build support for testing and customer demonstration. Optimize efficiency, safety, quality of all systems, accuracy, and cost effectiveness to meet critical deadlines. Will design, model, and validate parts and assemblies of varying levels of complexity utilizing SOLIDWORKS software to include sheet metal, weldments, simulation, surfaces, and drawings.
