Transport Planner

Purpose of the Job : As our Transport Planner, you will be responsible for carrying out the coordination, problem solving and administrative activities needed to deliver the tyres to Customers, and to Apollo Warehouses - on time, and on the possible most effective way. You also need to ensure customer satisfaction, cost effectiveness, and smooth operation in transportation and delivery services. Should any issue arises, it is important that you provide the information to internal customers, warehouse 3PLs and the carriers as soon as possible, to mitigate business risks. Last but not least, you are also in charge of creating reporting and data sharing needed for Management, for Internal Customers and for performance monitoring. Major Responsibilities : Monitor Delivery notes, and build up Shipments, Monitor Delivery slots and schedule shipments, Allocate shipments and book Carriers or Forwarders, Avoid influence attempts and violations from Carriers, Prepare Loading plan and coordinate with Warehouses, Follow up and coordination until delivery, Review Proof of Delivery (POD) documents, and approve the shipments for invoicing, Import and export documentation handling, Ensure fulfillment of Customer and Country specific requirements, Monitor IT systems used, and act in case of abnormality. Requirements: High school diploma and similar education in the area of Logistics Professional written and verbal communication in both Hungarian and preferably in English Must Have Confident computer user, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams Comfortable using email, phone, SMS, and Teams for daily communication High attention to detail and accuracy High tolerance for repetitive tasks and reliable performance Able to work independently and solve problems Good team player with strong cooperation skills Nice to Have Basic knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF, or VDA 6.3 standards Familiarity with automotive industry processes Basic understanding of warehousing and transportation practices Why join us?
