Number of Direct Reports (Solid Line) : 0 Number of Direct Reports (Dotted Line) :0 Number of Outsourced Reports : 0 Purpose of the Job : Co-ordinate technological activities of Compound mixing, Extrusion, Calendering, Cement mixing, Bead Bias in shifts which includes, implementing specifications / process systems, process trouble shooting, process review for continuous improvement, support to manufacturing on scrap / waste control and or efficiency improvement, implementation of specification changes and evaluation disposition of non conforming materials. Implement actions for cost reduction and reduction of tyre adjustments. Plan and organise area acivities related to Technical development/experimental/trial production. Coordinate process audit/control and validation activities. Review of test data. Management of PRT items. Sent necessary MIS reports. Lead CFT for preparation of PFMEA, Control Plans and Work Instruction. Major Responsibilities : Specifications: Approve, Implement validate SFG material/process specifications. Make timely reviews and initiate actions for revision / modification of specification / process. Technical Support : Control of non-conforming products / processes, disposing of non-conforming product / process, corrective preventive actions, scrap waste reduction, process modification, efficiency improvement, continuous improvement project Technical Improvements: Plan and organise area activities related to Technical developments/experiments/trials and prepare necessary reports Skills : Knowledge of Polymer Technology 2. Experience expertise in Compound Mixing, Extrusion, Calendering, Bead Bias. 3. Knowledge of QMS and core SPC tool Relevant Experience : 2 years Education Qualification(s) : BTEC MECH/POLYMER
