Financial Controller (F/M)

We are looking for a Controller to join our Greek finance team and take ownership of day-to-day controlling. You will combine hands-on controllership with close oversight of our operating assets, working closely with the finance manager and the headquarters finance and accounting team.

SPECIFIC TASKS AND DELIVERABLES:

- Own the daily bank reconciliation process and monitor cash balances to maintain full liquidity visibility. - Support monthly and quarterly closing activities. - Manage shareholder loan accounting, including balances, interest calculations and supporting documentation. - Own the reconciliation framework in the ERP, ensuring ledgers, sub-ledgers and bank accounts are accurate and reconciled. - Manage finance purchase orders. - Maintain accounting and loan documentation. - Run the day-to-day financial operation of operating assets: billing checks, invoicing, coordination with Energy Management, and updating production actuals and forecasts. - Support payment approvals through internal portal. - Perform ad hoc accounting and finance tasks.

Personal Experience and skills:

- University Degree in Accounting or Finance - Advanced MS Excel skills - More than 5 years of experience in controlling, ideally in energy. - Working experience with IFRS will be considered as a plus - Familiarization with an ERP tool (SAP) is desirable - Ability to respect deadlines in a dynamic environment - Fluent in English - Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills - Positive and learning attitude
