Data Architect

We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to design, build, and modernize enterprise-scale data platforms that power analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and mission-critical business applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architecting secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud-based data ecosystems within SaaS or Product-based environments. This role requires close collaboration with Engineering, Product, Data Science, and DevOps teams to deliver robust, future-ready data solutions. Key Responsibilities Design scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise data architectures. Architect, implement, and optimize databases including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Graph Databases. Lead database modernization, migration, and transformation initiatives across enterprise platforms. Build and manage cloud-native data platforms using Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Databricks, and AWS, Azure, or GCP. Define enterprise data models, governance frameworks, security standards, and data lifecycle management practices. Optimize database performance, scalability, replication, backup, disaster recovery, and high availability. Design data platforms that support Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI, and Large Language Model (LLM) workloads. Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Data Science, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions. Establish best practices for data architecture, database design, performance optimization, and security. Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance, regulatory, and security requirements. Evaluate emerging data technologies and recommend improvements to the organization's data ecosystem. Key Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Database Engineering, or related roles. Strong expertise in PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Graph Databases. Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Databricks, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Proven experience in enterprise-scale database migration, modernization, architecture design, and performance tuning. Strong knowledge of data modeling, distributed database systems, governance, security, compliance, and data lifecycle management. Experience building data platforms that support AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and Large Language Model (LLM) applications is highly desirable. Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, data warehousing, and big data technologies. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
