Position Purpose The Product Industrialisation Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful industrialisation of new tyre products and manufacturing readiness. The role ensures smooth product launches by meeting targets for scrap reduction, yield improvement, and run-at-rate performance while delivering projects according to agreed timelines. The position is accountable for ensuring customer and internal requirements are met, maintaining compliance with international tyre and testing standards, and driving the application of APQP, DFSS, DOE, and other quality tools to achieve robust and efficient industrialisation. Key Responsibilities Lead the industrialisation of new tyre products from development through to serial production. Coordinate the development of manufacturing process and product specifications in collaboration with R D and Manufacturing. Ensure manufacturing readiness and successful product launches while meeting agreed project milestones and timelines. Drive improvements in manufacturing performance, including scrap reduction, yield improvement, and run-at-rate achievement. Conduct gate reviews in line with the product development process and ensure timely completion of project deliverables. Ensure compliance with customer requirements and international tyre and testing standards. Apply and promote the use of APQP, DFSS, DOE, SPC, FMEA, and 8D methodologies to support continuous improvement and effective problem solving. Work closely with R D, Manufacturing, Quality, Testing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful industrialisation. Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 12 engineers, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Polymer Engineering. 10–15 years of relevant experience in tyre development or product industrialisation. Proven experience in introducing new products into manufacturing. Strong knowledge of APQP, DFSS, DOE, SPC, FMEA, and other quality methodologies. Knowledge of international tyre and testing standards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
