About the role

Hype DC is Accent Group's premium, limited and exclusive sneaker retailer. With almost 25 years as one of Australia’s leading premium sneaker destinations, Hype DC continues to deliver a curated world class assortment of sneakers to our customers. Here at Hype DC, we are obsessed and committed to our people, our team and our customers are at the heart of what we do. As a key sneaker destination, we strive to deliver memorable experiences, a high-performance culture and operational excellence.

Hype DC is looking for a Brand Marketing Coordinator to join the team, with a focus on organic social, content creation and campaign execution. From weekly content planning to TikTok, photoshoots and influencer activity, you’ll help bring the latest sneakers, releases and campaigns to life across Hype DC’s channels and stores. Your key responsibilities will include: • Plan, schedule and publish weekly organic social content across Instagram and TikTok. • Create content that taps into sneaker culture, current trends and new product releases. • Work with Buying and Planning to keep social content aligned with launches, exclusives and campaign priorities. • Monitor social performance, engagement and follower growth to identify opportunities. • Assist with campaign shoots, content production, influencer partnerships and product seeding. • Coordinate in-house studio off-foot photoshoots alongside The Agency. • Update campaign content and promotional offers across retail digital screens. • Manage marketing administration, including invoices, purchase orders, samples and supplier coordination.

What we’re looking for: • 1–2 years’ experience in marketing, social media, content creation or retail, or a strong entry-level portfolio. • A good understanding of Instagram and TikTok, including the content and trends shaping sneaker and fashion culture. • Confidence creating lo-fi, platform-native content, particularly for TikTok. • Strong organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. • A proactive approach, good communication skills and a willingness to get involved. • Experience with social scheduling platforms such as SKED is a bonus, as is sneaker or fashion retail experience.
